Dwan Abantao is all about this and more. A dancer, swimmer, gymnast and all-around athlete turned bodybuilder, Dwan is the epitomy of the total woman athlete. She won the hearts and points of all the judges at the recent Ms. Philippines 2003 held in Cebu City , not only because of her fit figure but also because of her poise, confidence, charm and beauty.
A native of Koronadal City, South Cotabato, Dwan was part of the swim team of South Cotabato from elementary to high school. She was No. 4 at the Palarong Pambansa (National Games 1990) in freestyle stroke. This was how she developed her wide back. In college, she moved to Manila and became a dancer for ABC 5, a TV show in 1999- 2002 about aerobics and health and fitness. She learned the ropes of staying fit while a member at Slimmers World Fitness Center Mega Mall.
